First Aid Response Refresher

This refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed a First Aid Response (FAR) course certified by a recognized body (e.g., PHECC in Ireland). It ensures that first aiders maintain their skills, confidence, and certification in providing emergency care.

First Aid Response Refresher Course Content

This first aid response refresher gives participants the chance to renew their knowledge and practical skills while staying aligned with the latest health and safety standards. The two-day comprehensive course reinforces essential techniques such as CPR, patient assessment, and injury management. By revisiting each stage of a real-life emergency, learners strengthen their ability to stay calm and deliver clear, confident support when it matters most. The refresher training approach combines theory and practice, ensuring participants maintain both technical skills and confidence in their ability to respond effectively.

Response Recertification and Responder Refresher

Designed for those who have already completed initial certification, this response recertification session helps participants meet renewal requirements while improving confidence in their role as a responder. The course follows a recertification blended model, combining guided instruction with hands-on practical work to keep training engaging and realistic. It highlights the importance of clear communication, quick thinking, and effective teamwork during high-pressure situations. This responder refresher also covers updated legislation and emergency protocols to ensure compliance with workplace safety expectations.

Practical Aid Training and Emergency Care Skills

The course combines classroom learning with practical exercises to develop a deeper understanding of first aid response. Learners take part in hands-on simulations that mirror real emergencies, from cardiac events to minor injuries. This aid training ensures participants can provide safe, efficient emergency care until professional medical help arrives. By completing the first aid response refresher, participants maintain their qualification and readiness to respond to emergencies at work or in their community.

They have both been excellent courses with very good instructors, and the communication with the organisers are second to none. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recently Booked an IOSH Health and Safety Course through Samson. Samson did not directly provide the training but I found them easy and reliable to deal through they found a course provider to best suit my requirements. I really enjoyed the course and the course instructor through her own experience was able to provide real life examples of Health and Safety Issues. There was interaction with Q & A’s between different sections of the course which kept the course interesting.
